About the role
Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in finance with a supportive and collaborative organisation?
Orikan is seeking a Junior Finance Officer (Graduate) to join our Finance team based at our South Wharf office. This is an excellent entry level opportunity for a motivated graduate who is keen to build a strong foundation in finance while gaining exposure to a broad range of activities beyond transactional work.
As a Junior Finance Officer, you’ll work closely with an experienced and approachable finance team who are passionate about developing early career talent. You’ll be supported through hands on learning, mentoring, and exposure to core finance processes, helping you grow your skills and confidence as you begin your professional journey.
This role is ideal for a graduate who is eager to learn, enjoys working with numbers, and wants to understand how finance supports the wider business.
Key responsibilities
With guidance and support, you will:
Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month end processes
Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other transactional finance activities
Communicate with internal teams and external suppliers regarding invoice and payment queries
Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger coding
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to help streamline finance processes
Contribute to finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide general administrative support to the finance team

About you
You’re a recent graduate (or soon to be graduate) who is keen to learn and develop a career in finance.
